I was especially interested in the machine he used to assure accurate proportions. Written by Tracy Chevalier.

The Night Portrait: A Novel of WWII & Da Vinci's Italy by Laura Morelli is historical fiction that takes the reader into two worlds: that of Leonardo Da Vinci and France during WWII with the Mona Lisa at the center of each.
